My German wife says that is not a word.
Are you referring to "Fahrvergnuegen" from the old VW commericals?
If so, that means "the joy of driving" in German.

When VW used the fahrvergnugen (fahren, a verb meaning to drive, and vergnugen, which means pleasure or enjoyment) promotional campaign in the 90s, it spawned a ton of takeoffs, including that one. DarkStarvergnugen was one of my favorites, as well as Netvergnugen, for any of you type2 folks who remember back in the day...

It started in the late '80s. I bought a really weak assed POS vw called "Fox" in '88 and came with the sticker. Had the driving dude in a cirlce and the slogan under it. I cut them and place the dude on my bus's windsheild which got caked within a couple of years due to sun exposure. The slogan part I put on a door window at work. It is STILL there and looks good as new! Shocked

No doubt - I used to have one of those on my first bus, which I got in '90...guess it had been around for a while longer. I was sooooo into VW at the time, that I went to the dealership to buy the stickers...they were in all those late 80's/early 90's florescent colors...

I've also seen FUKENMOVIN' (had it on my '68's window, along with a FUKENGRUVEN sticker), and FUKENBROKIN' (that one's really good; picture of a stick man with his head inside of a Bus's engine compartment, and a thought bubble above his head with expletive marks in it.
