Not only did we have a good time at Mr. Bubblehead's BBQ, not only did he give out dash plaques and feed all of us... but a special Type 3 showed up:
Ben's Speedster:
the 912 motor in the Speedster:
but up front, the VIN gives it away:
title to the Speedster matches the VIN; it is a '70 Fastback... _________________ póg mo thóin

That is what I should do with my '71, that has a good pan, but the body is rusted out.
BTW, that generator is off 90 degrees. That makes it like the T-3, and doesnt get proper cooling. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

I wish I had known the Bubblepalooza was going on last weekend. The wife has been wanting to do a road trip in the her new car. We wouldn't have been driving a VW, but it would have been nice to meet some of you people. _________________ Society is like stew.
