HELP! type 3 pulley same as type 1?

Is a type 3 pulley compatible with a stock bug motor? thanks for any help guys....

well if you are refering to the pulley off of the crank, then no. If you look at the type 3 pulley you will notice that it is more like a fan than a pulley. I am unclear as to what you are asking, do you want to put a t3 pulley on a t1 or t1 on a t3?

oh and the offset for the t3 pulley is not correct for the t1 alternator/generator. it sticks out alot more due to the t3 fan assembly.
