Straight Axle trans is in. Now the bus is just waiting for me to finish the motor...

were the previous pics just lowered on the og gearbox and reduction boxes? how low was it?

how did you lower the front, love the stance, great work Very Happy

Yeah, it was just lowered on reduction boxes. Front is just dropped spindles right now. Going to have JeremyRockJock build me a narrowed beam *hint hint, jeremy...*

Just dropped my case, heads, and flywheel off to be machined, said they'd be done in 2/3 weeks, then I can throw my engine together and be rolling... Cool

2/3 weeks turned into 6 weeks... From the machinist, I took everything to be balanced. Balance job was just finished, picking it all up on Thursday.

On another note, I put a borrowed 1600 in my bus and drove it around just to make sure everything was ready to go for the new engine. I am very impressed with the straight axle transmission. It's definitely quieter in the bus and is going to rock hard on road trips.
