NOT ONLY AM I NEW TO THIS FORUM....IM NEW TO THE WHOLE BUG SCENE.

THE ONLY OTHER CAR IVE EVER OWNED WERE MUSTANGS. A 66, 88 VERT, AND 91 COUP.

BUT I GOT INTO VW'S AND JUST FEEL IN LOVE...I LOVE DRIVING MY CAR, LOOKING AT IT, SHOWING IT OFF, ECT.

THIS IS MY DAILY DRIVER (700 MILES A MONTH) WITH A LOT MORE WORK TO BE DONE

Its an awesome looking car, whitewalls are the way to go!
I'm new to the VW scene myself. Never picked up on the "Cal-Look".
I dig your style here. Is that muffler painted red though??

Your car looks to be half "Cal-Look" and half "Hawaiian-Look". Particularly the white rubber (to each his own) and the nerf bars up front (to each his own).

Yah, I'm not sure what it is. It'll be even more out there when I get some
Porshce cup wheels. I used to love the Empi 5s when I was younger, but I think just about everybody has those.
I like The whitewalls for that hotrod/ratrod look.

Sorry to interrupt your thread 65ratrod, I just wanted to
respond to pennywise. Keep up the good work!!

oh ya by the way, my stinger is painted red. i painted it so that cops dont give me a hard time since it sticks out further than the bumper. plus it matches the car.
