When changeing from a fuel injection set up to a dual carb. Can I still utalize the same fuel pump?? Or do I need to go to a mechanical????? Is the fuel injection pump to much?? Or will still work??

The FI pump is way too much. You will need to convert to the mechanical pump that the stock carbs use.
BTW, I will buy the FI parts.

The only things I have from the Fi is the regulator and the main computer. My fasty didnt come with a motor. I wish it did. I would use the Fi with the 1776 that I am going to install. Can I use a aftermarket electric fuel pump?? Or would the recomendation still be for the mechanical??

I just removed the fuel tank and it does still have the fuel pump. If that intrests you. Not sure if it works. Going to remove it and hit it with some power and see if it comes to life.

Yeah, I am interested in what ever you have. I need to get the Ford pump off mine before Tram finds out. Also, the FI wire harness should still be there if they just pulled the engine.

Dont run the pump very long with it dry.

Yes I have the computer and the harness. I dont need it. I will box it, the regulator, the pump and whoever wants it can have it. I am trying to gently remove the fuel pump wireing too. Do you guys want that in the box too. Give me a address and it is yours. If not I was going to give it to the DDB. I need a backseat cushion. Maybe worth a trade???

Hmmmm, Maybe I should start parting out my '71 Fasty now. Nahhhhh, It may be in bad shape, but it gets me there, and gets me back.
Sorry, I only have a spare Squareback seat cushion. Actually, with shipping, it would be better to find one local.
