The only way i see to cut the power manually to the pump that is convenient is to either splice the yellow "loop" cable on the FWB panel end or add an extra loop somewhere near the faucet connector and install a city/tank toggle switch. It appears that perhaps installing a relay inline with the water pump connector next to the water tank (picture 1), splitting the yellow wire to power both the pump and the relay, and connecting the relay's ground wire through the lowest water level lug (white wire/picture 1) to automatically cut off +12V to the the pump could then simulate the auto-switch bentley claims we have. this should be simple enough for anyone to implement. One could also run the pump's ground through the tank's lowest level lug, but not sure how safe and reliable that would be. has anyone done that or is there a kit available?
