I am moving from England to Yuba City and I am trying to find out the clubs in the Sacramento Area and Yuba City Area. I am in the USAF and will arrive in California in August with my 1969 VW Squareback.[/b]

Check out the Clubs listings under the Commnity tab here on TheSamba. There are lot of clubs in Central/Northern California, as well as in the Sacramento area.

hey would anyone else in nor cal be interested in forming some sort of type 3 only club? would also be a good way to help others find parts. just a thought, does not have to be anything where there are weekly meets just one a month no dues keep it simple at first.

Check out the Typ III Kultur.

http://www.typ3kultur.com/

This is the old website, it is being redesigned, and should be done soon.

You really should update or people (like me) will assume the club is dead, and won't bother with it. You're in my area, but the fact that the next event listed on your site is a year ago has kept me from being very interested. If you're still active, I might drop by a meeting sometime.

we currently meet in Dublin at the Round Table Pizza, 7841 Amador Valley Blvd, Dublin, CA 94568. this is the most central location for our current membership with folks from san jose, daly city, modesto, etc. second sunday's of the month at 2pm. if you'd like to be notified, we have a mailing list that is solely for event reminders.

we talked about it before when people asked, but we were still pretty new and defining who/what we are as a club. if you want to start a club, i would first see if you have interest in your area and then try a couple of meets. gauge the level of involvement and then decide if/how you want to form a club.

if you want to circulate some flyers that's Cool . we don't descriminate on member location, but we do note that the events/meets are more local to the Bay.
