I bought a new turn signal a few years ago and just today decided I would try and put it in. It went in fine and all the new wires reach, but as I removed old, extra, and unnecessary wires I lost track where the wires are supposed to go. My wiring diagram is a little confusing in that it identifies terminals on the relays and switches that don't exactly match up with what I have as some of them are not originals. By looking at the wiring diagram I have it looks like there isn't even a turn signal relay. Was it built into the Emergency Flasher switch back then? Maybe mine is for the wrong year. Can anyone help me walk through wiring this back up? I'm sure its something easy that I'm just to blind to see as I'm a little tired and frustrated from working on it all day. This car has seen homemade wiring jobs so some of the orginal color coded wires are missing and/or in the wrong place. Its hard to track
question...Where does the Black/Green/White wire that comes from the turn signal switch connect to and what terminal?
Does anyone know of any online wiring diagrams? There a couple of shows coming up and I don't really want to wait around after ordering a new repair manual. |
