how much could I expect to pay for a stock tranny rebuild for my 67 squareback? is there normally a core charge with transmissions?

Most rebuilt trannies run from about $395.00 on up depending on the set up. and yes there is a core charge. Usually if you just swap in a reman and your trans is rebuildable then you won't have to pay it.

If you go that route (swapping in a re-man trans), make sure you keep your tranny nose cone section and hockey stick. Those 2 parts are type 3 specific. Shocked
