if you could make a bus anyway you wanted... any year with any custom mods you could lay your eyes on... what would you want? keep it stock? mod it out? or just do somthing realy cool with the paint? or rearrange the interior? its up to you... make it your own...
i thought this would be fun... just alittle creative fun...
if you want you can post pictures of certain aspects that you like off of certain busses... they dont even have to be from the same bus... LET YOUR CREATIVE JUICES FLOW!
mine: a '59 13 window (with-out the louvred windows) walkthrough with bullet turn signals... the westfalia set up from my '78 (furniture only) on the interiour (futon, outlet, table thing with the sink) and a bose sound system... all the chairs/benches would be upolstered with a tyedye 50/50 hemp/cotton fabric and the floor would have blue and green carpet and the formica for that westy table would have a lithograph of either "Yellow Submarine"(the Beatles) or "Steal Your Face"(Grateful Dead) and the ceiling would have a mural of some trippy scene... maybe some gnomes dancing around... or maybe... who knows... what ever... somthing that is thought provoking... and fun to look at... as for the exterior... it would have the lower portion have another cool mural of somthing... and the upper portion in a light tyedyeish paint... and to top it all off... replacing the VW symbol on the front with a Peace sign |

Now this is going to be a shot out into the dark, but I am going to say you are the only person on here with a dream Bus having to be a 1959 13-window with westfalia interior from the 70's. Hell if I had my dream bus it would be a 1954 Camper, unrestored al original with less then 50 miles on it. Owned by 98 year old lady who drove it back from the dealership new and then stored it for 50 years....Dream Bus.. |

Late '50s 15 window deluxe. Undecided on color at the moment. That's all I want....
Either that or a '58 green/green bus. Did the palm/sand green busses come in panels? _________________ My, you've been naughty. How.....Delicious.

A 1953 or so 23 window laying crossmemers on 18" custom designed, by me, wheels. Able to lay out and with 12" inches of lift using airbags without cutting or altering the body. Probably have a custom two-tone Alcantra suede and leather interior. Maybe just leave the exterior in its original colors. Oh, and the motor would be a turbocharged 2.5 liter type 4. Absolutely nothing bearing any likeness to a camper part used within or attached. That probably sounds stupid to many, but hey it is my dream not yours. |

It could be a rusted out fatchick, as long as it's got the girl in your avatar in inside it waiting for me... _________________ -Andrew |
