I have those tiny tiny little rust spots on the bumpers. Would a product like blue magic clean that up? The bumpers are in great condition, just need a little polishing (or so I think). Rolling Eyes

nope... sorry, but rust is not reversable on chrome. You can take 0000 steel wool and work all the orange iron oxide off the chrome, and then you are left with a black pit which can be waxed over, to keep it from rusting back as fast. or you coudl get some clearcoat and touch the spots up with a matchstick, and that will keep it from coming back for even longer.

Steel wool does wonders on chrome but be gentle. Rub too hard and the chrome is gone forever.

I had great luck with Thing hub caps using 0000 steel dipped in paint thinner as a lubricant and curd cleaner.
I then polished with Turtle wax polishing compund, then waxed twice.
On another set which where in slightly worse shape, I used fine grade rubbing compound before using the polishing compound.
All look brand new.
It sure worked for me!

I'll second the Turtle Wax Chrome polish suggestion. Good stuff.

Use the fine steel wool with the Turtle Wax. Makes a good brown slury.
