I purchased and used some Pennzoil 705 Multi-Purpose White Grease for when I did the shift rod bushing fix a while back. Made that shift rod push right thru. Probably good for prostate checks also
Anyway, is this same grease OK to use on my brake drum when I re-insert bearings back into the drum? Or, is it a different kind used for that purpose?
The stuf I have says it is NLGI #2 Water Resistant grease.
Thanks for answering a newbie question. I always see grease things up but never sure what exact greases I should use.

White grease is OK for the asjusting screws and where the shoes contact the bscking plate.
But you should use a good synthetic "wheel bearing" grease (usually blue) on the wheel bearings. _________________ Glenn
