how does the tank breather pipe mounts (67)? I have the pipe and all the hardware but I did not remove it, so I´m not sure if the pipe runs above or below the fender srews. the clamps are badly bent and it would work both ways, but which is the correct way?

thanks for any info or a picture

I could go take a pic of my '66, but basically, it comes off the corner of the tank, and up to the upper inner edge of the fender along the bolt line. Through the hole in the panel in the front edge, and then a hose goes out through a hole below the fill neck, in front of the axle beam.
Some of the fender bolts hold the thing in place.
