I know this was probably posted, but i went into a coma looking until page 43. Ive been out of the air cooled scene forabout 15 years, so any input.. MAHALOS(thank you). So how u lower a '69 square? Iwas told torsions, then i was told turning splines. just want to know which is best. i think i want about 4" in front and 2" in back w/ 195/50/15

Torsion bars, and splines are the same thing.
To lower a T-3, all you do is reset the torsion bar splines.
You need to get a Bentley manual, so you know how the t-3 suspension works. Once you understand that, lowering it is simple.
