I scored this set today, the closure clip is broken but otherwise it's very complete. Late 50's early 60's possibly?

I know he wasn't talking about me, I Know Eric and he knows I was j/k. That collection got me by far. I only have about 40 complete boxes and enough spare tools to make hmmm... about 10 more give or take. _________________ 64 Ghia

|
|
Hi Folks,
I delivered to a lady today and saw this German plate hanging in her garage. I asked if she had a German car or if she was from there.
She told me she & her husband had 9 Vw's. I asked her where they were at and they were all sold when he died 12 years ago. We talked for a while and when she found out that I liked Vw's she gave me a pile of stuff that her son found while cleaning up the garage. I was working so I just grabed the boxes and put them in my truck. I'm digging stuff out now and trying to Id some of the stuff I don't know the year.
Does anyone know about plates or this one that was in the box.
also does anyone know the year of this hazet toolbox. It is missing the lug wrench & small screwdriver according to the little picture on the box top. Found a couple of hazet wrenchs too.
Anyone have a small screwdriver & lug wrench they would want to trade for something?
Thank you for your time.

Nice box!!
It's looks like it is a early oval to '55 box by the way the sticker is with the big wrench (36mm). If that's the case it should have felt but, if you keep that 36mmX21mm wrench then it should have flocking. it seems that at one time this box had flocking and with that sticker with the big wrench having 36mm only then it might be a early '56 box. the kept using the old sticker till they run uot but they went to flocking.
I do have those tools if you are interested. PM me if you like and tell me what you got to trade. _________________ 64 Ghia

Hey guys it's been awhile since i have been in the forums but I have a box. Not sure if it an original, do they make repro's, but all the tools are stamped Hazet and the screwdrivers have hazet decals. Any way to know if this is an original box? |
