| i have a pal with a 70 fastback,which i worked on in the past but not for a couple years. apparently he's had some poor running problems. a very good vw garage in the area told him his injectors are just getting dirtier and dirtier. they replaced the fuel filter, put in cleaner and he tries to keep the tank full, but now it barely idles, etc. instead of just slapping on a pair of carbs.i'd to try to fix the injection first. is there an easy way to clean the injectors or should i bring it to work [vw dealer] and charge him 75 bucks for a proper pressure clean. |
