h4s or 9003s?

I went to kragen today to get some silverstar halogen bulbs, but the 9003 and h4s looked just like my bulbs. Can anyone tell me which is the correct one, or is there any difference between the two?

. Just check the high/low beam wattage for your intentions. I've got 55/80watt bulbs, you can see good but oncoming traffic doesn't like them Rolling Eyes

. Typical is 55/60.

well, ya thats the thing, both the h4 and 9003 have the same wattage ratings, and same everything, i dont see the difference.

Pretty sure they're identical. I have run 9003s in my motorcycle (with an H4 bucket and connector) for a few years with no problems.

did some research, supposedly nowadays, they are the same bulb in different packages, if they are sylvania. thanks,
