which ones do you guys like the cima mahle's, or the new german ones? the obvious thought would be to use german but i noticed the price is really cheap making me wonder if they are good quality. #1 cylinder is starting to suck oil from running hot (check out my other posts) so it is going to be time soon for a rebuild. i just want an engine that will be able to drive everyday reliably and be able to do drives like from home base here in nor cal to the invasion. _________________ aircooled for life (1972 squareback cal look) |

I would use Mahle's, but then I am biased. The patch over my shirt pocket says Mahle.
Also, CoFap from Brazil are Mahle.
One thing to remember about Mahle, They made the originals, and still do, for most cars. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

All the CoFab sets I have used in the past, had always the VW/Audi logo inside the piston. No problems at all so far. |
