Hey guys does anybody hae a diagram or the locations of the bolts that hold the shell on to the pan on a 68 fastback? how many are there?
I need to get this shell off so I can send the pan out for sandblasting and sealing. |

Dont have a diagram but there are about 7 on each side under the rockers, 4 big ones up front by the pedal assembly and the tunnel that I think are 19s, and about 4 big 17 or 19s under the back seat and 4 regular ones under the back seat as well. Just take off all you find and then '''''''shake''''''', where ever its tight look for one you missed!! _________________ Frank

Don't forget to unhook the brake fluid res lines, and the steering column. The lines are the easiest to forget, but there are also 2 more bolts on the top of the front axle (right above the beam clamps), and 2 more hidden in the rear load floor (above the rear shocks). _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof
