I'll add some salt water tomorrow. It has been raining steady all day long and it's supposed to turn into snow tonight. _________________ AnimalsInTheAttic

I'll get some more pics up soon. Por-15 is doing the best followed by Rust Bullet. The others all are in a distant 3rd, rust is starting to show through on the edges. I ended up using RB (since I was out of Por-15) on my pan and then Por Blackcote over the RB. _________________ AnimalsInTheAttic

Por 15 with full prep or just Por 15? And did you prep the RB the same way?
I was really impressed with how RB soaked INTO the rusty spots in my bus. _________________ No boom today. Boom tomorrow. There's always a boom tomorrow.

I tested both products each way. So far the prep has not made a difference. Both products/prep have a little rust coming through on the edge. I coated the edge really well but there is still a little rust coming through on the Por and RB. Much less than Master,Eastwood,Rustoleum & Jasco.
I can't take close ups with my current camera since the dog decided to gnaw on it in the backyard. I'm hoping to get a new one in the next few weeks. Once I can post some close ups you will be able to judge for yourself. _________________ AnimalsInTheAttic

My sight is pretty bad, but a few of the products seem to be doing a good job. |

It pretty much rusts on all panels around the edges, then?
Would it be advisable to use a good seam seam sealer where possible on every edge (besides just the floor pans) so water/air can't get in?
I'm asking because my body is off the frame so this would be a good time to do this. |
