Jim-
I know there is a difference between 6v-12v tranny but I dont know what? Rancho would not take a 6v tranny as a core for a 12v, they did however accept my 12v swing for a 12v IRS.
In regards to the brackets, from what I have recently learned the difference in brackets was driven by the differnce in years of swing axle frame. You can see the first two pictures are both swing axle 66 and 68. Because of the horn that comes out from the frame to meet the tranny is longer I needed a shorter mount like the one ISP pictured in their post.
The rubber ones are the best as the neoprene mounts are very rigid/solid and allow vibration to travel thru to the car creating noise.
Call Martin at DDB in Oregon, he is somewhat close to you he is extremely helpfull.
Angelo-
The mount is available, I would find a good used german one. The Brazilian ones are cheap. Call Type 3 Detectives in England I'm sure they will be able to help.
Cheers,

The difference in the trannies is the bell housing. And they want like for like. Except, they can always sell a 12V swing or IRS. They may not have much call for 6V trannies. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
