Just got this bus a couple months ago. It had it's first trip this past weekend to Bakersfield from San Luis Obispo. It now sports a 5" narrowed beam, and 3.5" drop spindles. It has a 68 bug trans. w/ thing drums and BRM's. Although, it does have some rocker blister and some rust in the front floors. Drives great until you hit a grade. Talk about slow. It has a 1500 single port, that will probably stay in it.

The front and rear(one inner notch) are both down one notch w/ 195/50/15's. It goes alot lower but starts to bottom the tires out in the front, when I hit a bump w/ a passenger. |

Nice Bus, it looks kinda like my sons bus. _________________ OGJHC

I'm starting to get little wafts of bus stink coming from the north. Something about the unique scent of drivers seat padding when it's glued together with mouse piss and shit that really gets me going... and I'm smelling it! Oh yeah! Time to start loading up the equipment. |

Thanks for posting the pics. vdubinit. I think the drive and the hanging had to be the best part of going. |
