| how easy is it to rebuild front beam, & how can you tell if it is needle bearing or bushings.......i have a 74 standard |

It's not hard to rebuild a beam.
Look inside the torsion tube... if no needle bearins, then you need bushings.

| 74 would be Needle Bearings. If bearings are bad then the arms are most likely bad, they get little groves or rust streaks where the rollers have set. Bad arms will work OK with the Urethane bearings. Front End Parts <> See # 35 & #36 http://www.1800vw.bizhosting.com/0.suspension_ft.all.htm |
