My car, Haven't posted pics in for-freaking-ever. Excuse the shitty-ass camera I got for free from Earthlink back in 1998.

1967, 5" narrowed beam, 125s front, 205s rear... I'm putting the 5-spokes back on the front tomorrow, and soon i'm getting old style fenders. Eventually i may go lower, but this'll do for now.

Beam and lights. That leaf's for speed.

1. The spikes. YES, I've actually torn a couple pairs of jeans on them, and I've stabbed one straight through my hand once. They're so fun.

2. Neon. It gets attention, It really doesn't look as bad as you probably think it does. It's really a pretty sweet compliment to the low.

... But I do see your points, and I may take it out at SOME point in time... but at the moment I still get a kick out of it.

3. The Tach. Since the speedo came out the back and the tach has to go in the front, I had to take off the steering wheel and drop the shaft down a bit while i installed it. It fit in the hole but wouldn't go past that little lip, so i had to bend the lip back. I bent it around, tried the tach, bent a little more... To the point where i could just tap the tach into the hole and it stayed without fastening. You could probably just cut that lip off but If it's too loose you'll have to come up with some bracket or somethin.
That's all I did, after it went in the hole i just wired it up like a normal tach, and then of couse it's got the holes for the light bulbs for backlighting, turn signals, and alternator/oil pressure, i think you can only have one.
