Yes, they are the same as any T-3. It was built on a T-3 chassis.
You think you have floor pan rust in a T-34???

Russ, I really don't see a lot of rust in that picture.
Lots of open space, but very little actual rust. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

That is what happens when they sit flat on the ground for 30 years. The tires had sunk into the dirt. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

man i hate rust just as much as the next time. my pans aren't nearly as bad as that. but my car was also sitting in the middle of a pasture literally, and it too had suck half way up the wheels in sand. my rear quarters and floor pans are shot. i had a car that the flintsones obviously abused. feel your pain. |

I found a complete front clip in the LA, CA area. Cost a small fortune to get it shipped. I found a rear quarter panel here on the Samba. Dont have it yet, so dont know what the shipping will be. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

All Type 3s use the same pans. BUT- You'll probably have to go used. If you find brand new metal floorpans, let us know who's carrying them!!! _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

i have pics but i haven't had a chance to put them on the site. they really aren't that good because they were taken the day i picked the car up. I just started tearing into the car today, removing seats, old tar board, shag carpeting( yes, green shag), about 20 lbs of sand that was trapped in every crevice amaginable, front bumper, and crappy old truetone am radio. as for the floorpans, its good to know that all t3s share the same foundation, as i did find a decent pan with min rust. the only other choice i have seen is going with fiberglass pans. any word on those. |

aren't the seat rails different between the T34 and a regular T3 floor pan? _________________ '54 Kombi | '57 356 Coupe | '57 Samba | '62 Notchback | '63 Beetle (36k Original Miles) | '66 Pigalle Sunroof Squareback | '70 Westy |

Have the seller check the dimensions of the floorpan with Greyhound shipping. Might be able to get it shipped for less than $40.

Yes, the Type 34 has different seats and seat rails than the other Type 3 cars. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) |

Yes, the seat track on a T-34 are mounted to the floor, and not to the tunnel and the sill like most T-3's. That is one thing you have to salvage from you old floor. when you do the replacement.
It is also a reason that fiberglass pans wont work as you have noplace to anchor the seat. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

got a good point i never even thought about that. i may use the pans from another pan as my seat rails are still in pretty decent shape. could you just rivet the old seat rails really good to the fiberglass pans. it would have to be good but i don't see why it wouldn't work. |

although i have always been a fan of breaking out the grinder and welder i am not opposed to trying the glass pans. you know expanding my horizons by trying something different. would you also have to rivet and epoxy the glass pans in order for them to work? |
