Nope, someone just got a good deal, if the car is what they say it is.
I only gave $230 for mine delivered to my house. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

It was on Ebay as a parts car. BUT it was local to me. Proverbial behind the barn find. I went and looked at it, figured I could part it and make money if it was too bad. The guy that had it also had a car hauler, and offered to deliver it if I won the auction. Nice guy, I have known of him for about 30 years, but didn't know he had the Ghia. _________________ Society is like stew. Is that a bad ebay link or was the car removed off of the site? _________________ '54 Kombi | '57 356 Coupe | '57 Samba | '62 Notchback | '63 Beetle (36k Original Miles) | '66 Pigalle Sunroof Squareback | '70 Westy |
