I'd wager not much speed involved, there, since a VW Bus has the structural consisitency of a tinfoil bread box. lol.

not much in the way of details about what happened .. happened in New Mexico early 2010 .. the driver and his girlfriend unharmed, and after the bus was uprighted they drove it to Colorado.

Did indicate the bus is named "Jim Morrison"

Looks to be some blood splatter on the dash and steering wheel. That must have hurt!

I didn't even look that close.

Beetles are really pretty unsafe cars because of the long straight steering column that will come up at you like that in a really bad crash. Of course there are plenty of other unsafe things about them too but that is a pretty bad problem.
