What kind of injuries did you get from the steering wheel coming up and hitting you/you hitting the steering wheel? |
walked away with 12 stitches in my upper lip below my nose. no setbelt and no brakes from 45mph into tree.. im convinced it would've been worse had i not had the spare tire in the trunk.. drivers wheen creased so far in it trapped my knee between inner wheel well and the seat. i always clowned my friends who put later style "collapseable" steering column in their cars. im sold on them. the steering wheel bent on my face. horrible evening. dont drink and drive, its not worth it. |

Wow, glad you made it out alive. That looked like a nice ride, too. Were you able to take your parts before it was crushed? _________________ 1956 Ragtop |

Mostly the important things. Motor. Trans. Some of the bells and whistles I added along the way. Honestly it was a horrible experience and I couldn't stand seeing it in my garage all smashed and bloody constantly reminding me of how stupid things can get when things are out of perspective, it was a big eye opening lesson I learned the hard way. I wanted it gone. I had just gotten it together and driving maybe 6 months. It was to be a gift to my girlfriend. |

Crowdfunding a business expense? Fuck that shit. lol. Write it off on your taxes and move on. I love how they've raised $25 of a $10K goal in 12 days. |

Yeah, I think the results will speak for themselves, I highly doubt they will even reach $100.
I imagine the $15k or so they spend restoring it will come from their marketing budget. |

Well, it's a shame nonetheless. I wouldn't wish it on anybody (or bus). Merry Christmas everyone. _________________ Jack Staggs
