SSX, That's my buddy Glenn Pablo's '47. Don't count on it be any closer to the earth. He's a stocker. It's getting body worked as we speak.

He paid more for it, the way you see it (with all the parts to complete it), than the lady selling your '57 sunroof.

First off, I heard those guards are re-pros. Also I hear that car is in the shop getting all sorts of fiberglass work done.

J/K, not about guards though, the spares.

Still rare and cool as hell, even if a thing or two will have to be repro to finish it. I was/am still debating about the 47' on Oahu, I have already sold my 67' Chevelle so I have most of the cash, but I want to be able to start it immediately and get it done! If my 61' Bubbletop 409 sells then, I'd say 90% I'd probably buy it Very Happy (I would then have the cash for all the parts I need) I'd still rather have a Split/Rag with Crotch Coolers for a little less $$$ though, I just don't want something all apart in pieces or covered in fresh primer that I don't know whats underneath then have to keep track of everything during shipping. I am asking $30K firm for the Impala(Just reduced it from $32K). I would take a part trade on a Split/Rag or the banana bumper split, but would only consider a "solid" and complete car. The Impala is 99% rustfree and was an original bigblock, 4spd, posi car. The interior is like new and most of it is original, has the rare Tach with box in the engine compartment, One piece bumpers etc etc etc. The car is not perfect, but damn close and a 409 (especially a dual quad hipo version in the car is rare as hell) BTW it appraised in 2002 for $32K so I think my price is more than fair. Anyway here's some pics...If it doesn't sell soon I am going to order up the 4way Airride, Vintage Air, some 20" Intros etc and finish the car the way I wanted to in the first place.
