Wow. Just wow. Thank you for finding that, it's 5 minutes up the road from my work and I think I need to go see it in person! (Not to buy. Just to see.) _________________ '60 Canadian Standard, '64 Bug, another '64 Bug, '66 Bug, '69 Sunroof Bug, '69 GT3 Bug, '71 Super, '72 Super, '73 Canadian Custom, '74 Love Bug, '83 Mexi Bug, '85 Cabrio, '94 Mexi Bug, '99 New Beetle, '02 New Beetle Turbo S, '03 New Beetle VR6. What a horrible piece of work.
Looks like that Revell Skip's Fiesta Drive In Beetle model from the late 80s after someone had at it with an exacto knife for a while. _________________ '60 Canadian Standard, '64 Bug, another '64 Bug, '66 Bug, '69 Sunroof Bug, '69 GT3 Bug, '71 Super, '72 Super, '73 Canadian Custom, '74 Love Bug, '83 Mexi Bug, '85 Cabrio, '94 Mexi Bug, '99 New Beetle, '02 New Beetle Turbo S, '03 New Beetle VR6. 1611 pages of madness. My favourite (really got my head spinning) was the beetle stretched over the civic. What will happen with me now, I don't know...
Gotta check my folders for stuff that wasn't here now, though. Always been hard to resist the right click > Save as... |

Reminds me of this chopped '32 5 window my friend was selling in '98 or so- it was cut off from the tail panel to about the middle of the cowl, for a drastically tilted body on a VW pan. He wanted $6,500- and it ran and drove! Seemed like a lot dough for half of a 5 window body... but who knows- It was before everyone had a camera all the time, so I didn't get pics... I hope it wasn't made out of some long lost famous hot rod-
It would have made great Fonzie dune buggy. |

That's really kinda well done. And the exterior of the car looks great. _________________ '60 Canadian Standard, '64 Bug, another '64 Bug, '66 Bug, '69 Sunroof Bug, '69 GT3 Bug, '71 Super, '72 Super, '73 Canadian Custom, '74 Love Bug, '83 Mexi Bug, '85 Cabrio, '94 Mexi Bug, '99 New Beetle, '02 New Beetle Turbo S, '03 New Beetle VR6. I'm surprised chickengeorge hasn't commented on this yet. Maybe he had a heart-attack when he saw it. Asian girl, ricer engine. Perfect match for TJ. |
