Looks like someone built another Jurgens autovilla replica,
A guy here in Aus has just finished building one from scratch, he brought it to the big VW show on last weekend, pretty impressive work, he has a build thread on aussieveedubbers. _________________ Quick little bug, you got a Porsche motor in that?

It may not be a bastard but it sure is homemade.. and from the 1980's! It was stored in a garage for 30 years, (maintained) and we got it
It's a 1958!
Rossi headlights.
and heres my bastardization add on to it. Motorcycle LED blinkers behind the horn grills using shelving brackets from menards Holes lined up perfectly.

I wonder if it rubs? |
It doesn't rub. It belongs to and was built by a friend of mine. It started as a crusty 73 standard bug. He built the frame from scratch, chopped and channeled it, widened the wide 5 steelies for those big meathooks all in his little shop. It sports a blown 350. It's not really an abortion IMO, the quality of it is top-notch. |
I agree it does not look like an abortion, I'd love to see a build thread, or at least more pictures.
A lot of folks see ratrods as a excuse for crappy low quality work. That is clearly not true here, at least from the one photo. _________________ Good Luck

That's some serious Cincy Bengals love right there! I think they did a great job on the paint matching to the helmet stripes. Love the license too. a little Steve Miller reference? Not a Bungles fan, but I would roll the hell out of that! 90's style and all |
