Nope. Two trolling motors, although he only had one at the show. It also had individual props internally mounted in front of each headlight (for front steering I believe), a foot pump for dewatering and the body was completely foam filled.

Ive never seen gas powered trolling motors like those, they sure look like weed whackers. Perhaps that was the preliminary design? Didnt look like they worked to well Laughing

Man - If I hadnt just bought 3 more VWs......In all seriousness, this was along the lines of what I had in mind for the Bug Hearse I am building, but it didnt match my wifes vision and she won. But I think I am gonna do something like this eventually. Is part of this one of those old VW T rod kits?
