Lol in case your being serious. The part of the vehicle that is in the blue section of the photo is a beetle, lowers is of course a Cadillac.
I don't feel like editing and then reposting the picture. _________________ 1973 karmann ghia - current, not the last VW.

Everyone's so distracted by identifying what the front end started out as they don't notice the back wheel, builder win in this particular case _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

the tricycle is a late night eBay find. (search Polaris vw slingshot) I was hoping it was just a bad dream. he wasted a Yamaha 650 to build it. I am sure 1000 less ccs will make this a screamer. his description is quite amusing as well, "some welds should be added for safety" pretty sure the wheels should be removed for safety. |

Impressive fabrication skills at least, not so sure I'm okay with the color coordination (not that it matters much), and I really hope they started with something really rough (or very late model/Mexican?) to build that porta-scooter trailer!

I'd have to agree with you on that one, look at all this quality plumbing used as structural material!
Even an eye-bolt come-along!
Despite all the obvious hack-jobs, if he cut the price by half, and if I had the time/money to throw away on such a project (not to mention if I lived closer), I might actually have some fun finishing and driving such a monstrosity! BUT- none of those 'if's are likely to come to pass, so it will simply stay immortalized here for all to see and be horrified by. _________________ Two Bugs-

He claims to've had it running, but whether that was before or after he mated it to the bug I don't know! _________________ Two Bugs-

You won't be driving for long. That overworked air-cooled motorcycle engine won't be getting any cooling air at all behind the bug. |

That would be something to address, yes. Somehow I don't think the fan setup the seller mentions would be up to the challenge! _________________ Two Bugs-

Motorcycle engines are undercooled, as they spend very little of their life producing maximum horsepower. Even if an efficient engine-driven cooling fan is provided, the engine may not have sufficient cooling surface to stop it from overheating.
It will be making pretty much the same horsepower as the original VW engine and cooling is proportional to horsepower generated. Just not enough fins on that poor upright twin. |

Posted this in the v-Rod thread, but most people will appreciate it here. This pic is popping up online. I have zero info on it. Looks mostly fab'd and probably very little actual og VW in there. Check the frame around the door glass, etc. I would like to see a suicide front axle on there!
