"Custom Fabrication" 66 VW $8000

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/4917520466.html

Really?? What were they thinking????? "Hey, let's cut up a bug, then weld the back window section back on UPSIDE DOWN & BACKWARDS to make it look like a extended cab truck & then make it a flatbed!!" I also love the 'very detailed' item description! Must be embarrassed to go any further..... Laughing Looks like they couldn't decide what to do & kept changing their minds.......I would not roll that mess.... Crying or Very sad

I'd roll that, after I changed the hood, take off the fake side pipes & put the doors back to normal. I'm rather tall & large & suicide doors would make it hard to get behind the wheel... Embarassed

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.

You do realize that hood is necessary for cooling air to reach the radiator, right?

What the fuck?! Shocked I don't know whats worse the eff'd over single cab or that... thing leaning ontop of it. Theres reason why I like to see cars and girls separate in pictures.

Not really an abortion but I still found it hilarious (granted I'm not sure of the yellow lights are proper? Didn't french cars have to have yellow headlights? Think )

That ^^^ was done as a bit of a joke aimed at the people who drive to shows with Radio Flyers, suitcases, pedal cars and other shite on a roofrack for no reason.

Pic was taken at VW Action a few years ago at Santa Pod Raceway.

Oh and yes, older French cars had to have yellow lights, this one's a UK car. It's not illegal...just to be different really.

All I can tell you is it's a diesel, this bug, the split bus limo (actually a modified Brazilian bus), the bug limo and the two double ended buses are all the work of this guy https://www.facebook.com/yudi.yumos/photos who has caused a bit of upset making "fake" splitties out of late Brazilian T2's. Whatever your opinion, he is prolific and his finished work looks great.
