It looks like the taper of the super wide fenders makes the tire look weird. |

I hate to admit it, but I've done that. The biggest problem is that the back of the car is quite a bit wider than the front so some twisting and a few pie cuts on inner structure are involved to get it back together. I'd like to think I got the fenders to look better than that. _________________

Took me a second to figure out why it had scoops! XD
Not sure what that hinged panel is for, but it's a bit overly reflective and would make driving behind it at night a real pain! |
I'd consider rolling this, but what's up with the funky body line above the quarter glass? |
Looks like an attempt at a drip rail. _________________ Chuck in Socal

Some people think they stopped making beetles after 1957. Some people think they stopped making buses in March 55, or August 58, or August 63, or July 67.
Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life. |

This is the only car I have posted about in all 1100 something pages... It is sweet. Im going for a similar look with my splitty bug but it will be a sleeper. |
WHOA... I'd roll this beast; then probably wrap it around a tree from all that power...that motor is SICK! |
