It looks like the taper of the super wide fenders makes the tire look weird.

I hate to admit it, but I've done that. The biggest problem is that the back of the car is quite a bit wider than the front so some twisting and a few pie cuts on inner structure are involved to get it back together. I'd like to think I got the fenders to look better than that.

Took me a second to figure out why it had scoops! XD
Not sure what that hinged panel is for, but it's a bit overly reflective and would make driving behind it at night a real pain!

I'd consider rolling this, but what's up with the funky body line above the quarter glass? Confused

Looks like an attempt at a drip rail.

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life.

Okay, I think I just had a tiny little orgasm looking at this one...

This is the only car I have posted about in all 1100 something pages... It is sweet. Im going for a similar look with my splitty bug but it will be a sleeper.

WHOA... Shocked I'd roll this beast; then probably wrap it around a tree from all that power...that motor is SICK!
