That video RULES! I love it! The commentary is almost as good as the video itself! What's even more surprising is that VWoA made it! Whoever thought they were that creative! Cool

This brings one weird question to mind: has anyone ever put a curved windshield super body(or any super body) on a standard pan?? You know, just to mess with peoples' minds. Yeah I know it shouldn't be done because it CAN be done. But can it BE done? It would be the ultimate abortion of course.. Laughing This would be easier I think than putting a std body on a super pan, but what do I know? Laughing Laughing

Very interesting.....is that a stock or narrowed beam in that?? I think it would look better with the beam at the right width for the body, IMHO. Looks narrowed, or does a stock beam look like that with a super body over it??
Oh yeah...I'd roll it for sure! Very Happy

Why do I like it? Why do I really like what I see? I usually find supers to be ugly.. but why does that one work for me? Shocked

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life.

supers were built in germany and only in germany. supers on "standard" pans didnt happen. everything from the frame head forward on the pan is entirely different. fatty bugs with elephant feet were built elsewhere, but usually had swing axle, balljoints and 1200's.

Wow. A curved windshield, Super dashboard, and torsion bars. So I assume no flat spare in the trunk, and the pan is a Standard?
