Is it just me, or does that feel like an awkward location for the shifter? |

There must be some serious strain on that frame/fork, I'd be nervous putting it on the trailer, let alone driving/riding it. How much of the 'pan's left, can a beam be re-fitted? 'glass flip-front and job's a good 'un. _________________

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.

The previous owner did a great job by building the extended part from the linkpin beam. You can actually unbolt the custom/hacked beam and install another beam and get a donor front clip and have another clean beetle if you wanted to.

So the extension was a bolt on? No way that is safe with those four bolts holding an extension that long on.
Those bolt on rat rod Ford extenders are pushing it as it is but this is putting so much extra leverage on those bolts that at some point they will snap. That is not even taking into account all of the extra leverage on the frame head. _________________ Chris

I agree , but if I were to ride one I would like to assume that I would possibly get killed because it is a three wheeler, not because the front half was going to break off. _________________ Chris

Other than the dash mods, I like how sneaky this is. _________________

I just sold it this morning to a well known trike builder and he looked at it and said this was built right and there would be no issues with this extension popping off the framehead didn't even try to talk me down even though my ad was best offer _________________ ** HELL YEAH I'LL SELL IT TO YOU**
