Nice! Waylon Wire (1963impala2dr on YT) has nearly finished a 'Dodgillac' rat-rod that has those headlights and caddy fins/tail-lights! _________________ Two Bugs-

Best coffee I've had since coming to Seattle. Barista was hot as hell. The early hubcaps are on it because someone stole the one's they had and that's what they could find. Lights work and light up at night. They found it on CL a while back and cut it in half .

Is it just me, or are the taillights on this not quite right? _________________ Romans 10:9-10

Looks like they used part of the body from an Amphicar to make that; I'd roll it! _________________ Romans 10:9-10

That is as close as I likely would ever be to owning a Cord. I have to admit I kinda like it. Just for the goofy factor. _________________ nothing |

I don't know..., I like different, but you can't sculpt a curvy art deco car like that out of flat sheets of plywood (or whatever it's crafted from), it's like an insult to the original design.
Now if it was painted olive drab with some military markings and features it may just have enough of a WTF factor for me to be seen in it _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Yeah, it either needs to be slammed to the ground with some nice wheels, or plopped on a Toyota truck chassis with a camo paint job. As it sits, it just doesn't seem right. _________________ nothing |

I have too much money tied up in other projects right now to buy this at the moment unless something happens with my 61 this week. So what is the deal on this. Has to be some sort of kit. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

It's OK, at least one of those windows isn't from a VW. _________________

Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life. |
