Some think that if your beetle has a padded dash, it's an engine donor. Some think that if it has push button door handles, it's a boat anchor.
Do what you want. Ignore the elitists. Drive your VW. Enjoy life. |

I would build that.....Good proportions and stance. Very clean and well thought out. Not sure I would do that same color, but having a hard time picturing any color that it wouldnt look good in.
Of course this is coming from a guy that has built and am building some "special" cars
P.S. Showed it to my wife and she loves it as well. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing as I scrolled through the photos. A few small changes could make a big difference. _________________ nothing |

Split panel with a bay front clip? Why? They couldn't find a suitable split front end? |

Pretty sure it started as a baywindow. Look at the roofline crease. _________________ nothing |

It could have also been a Brazilian baywindow which came straight from the factory with a bay front clip and a split rear with bay tail lights, an odd factory mix of parts. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"
