I was drivin' along the other day, as usual, no worries, when I lost power...and lost power...and lost power...and died. The day before I had repaired a heat exchanger connection which I thought might have been the problem, but no - everything looked okay upon examination (from my non-gearhead eye): no apparent disconnected wires, exhaust system perfect, spark plug wires and plugs connected, and plenty of power to the starter. The car turns over fine but won't fire. I've found the Bentley Manual doesn't have the most user-friendly troubleshooter for this problem. I don't know where to start. Any ideas? LMK thks and happy new year!

You need 3 things to make an engine run.
fuel
compression
and ignition at the correct time.
