here is something i learned this week after swapping carbs about 15 times.
that bottom nut is a pain to get to , and i really didnt wanna pull the intake each time, so i installed this on the bottom stud instead of the stock size!
its alot easier to get an 11mm in there than a 13mm.
Just wanted to post this seperate for everyone or future searches |

I have a bent Hazet 13/10mm that does the trick, but that is a very good idea! _________________ To his their own PBJ

i have one of those too, couldnt get more than like an 1/8 a turn if that. |

I have a copy of the hazet tool designed for this purpose. Works like a charm! Because I too got very tired of pulling the manifold. A decent fab guy will cost you $20 or a 6 pac to make one. Well worth the effort to get one. But the 11mm nut idea seems good to.
