This go's for buses and parts the good thing about people putting stuff for way too much..Is that it just makes it easy for me to sell my stuff... I normally search for what i want toto sell when i find it..Then i look to see many times it's been viewed if the number is in the 1000's then you know the price is too high to just put your stuff underneath that.. that's what works for me.. you're only making money when your selling.. when I use to go to Pomona a back in the day there are a few people I would always asked the same thing on the same part how much you want for that. and they would always say the same thing I told you last time meanwhile they were bringing it to show unloading it load in the back up show after show even after year if they sell it for what they were asking did they really make any money in all the work it took to unload and load that thing for a year.. _________________ (20-024785)Ambulance (20-037784)truck (20-035850)panel

Okay, just like the "real thing", this is piced at well over twice as much as you can get it elsewhere...
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1408207
If you don't have the $50 plus postage in your pocket to waste after Christmas, just call Jeff Grant at German Aircooled (www.germanaircooled.com) and purchase it just like I did for only $19.95 plus mailing. No sense throwing your hard-earned cash away...
Merry Christmas everyone!

It creeps me out when folks refer to themselves in the 3rd person narrative. "Jimmy can jump"...

You gotta start somewhere right? It almost reached the reserve last time!
I think it's funny how you all have an opinion about it but NONE of you have actually come to take a look at it.
As for the tire... I'll go buy another tire for you! I was just letting you do it in case you wanted to paint the rims to match and then get yourself a matching set of tires.
Like I said, it almost reached the reserve price last time.. and for that price I'll let you buy your own tires.
I honestly don't see a point to this thread. It does nothing positive for a seller and only seems to be a place for crybabies that can't afford stuff. Playing Lowball is no way to get a sellers attention so you might as well come on this thread and try to get everybody to feel sorry for you.
WAAAHHH! This guy's bus is so close to me BUT I can't afford it... WAAHHH!! |

Dude, the bus is overpriced or it would have sold long ago. I honestly don't see a point to jacking up the value of rusty POS buses, it does nothing positive for the VW community and makes everyone think they are sitting on a gold mine. |
