The next time I'm selling a Bus I think I'll put something to the effect of
"All emails and offers welcome, no one who contacts me is wasting my time and I will discuss anything you want about this Bus, even if you don't have the money, are not really interested, or just want to ask me some question about it because you own the same model or Buses in general."
Hmm, that is kind of long though...
Except no motorcycle trades because F you if you think I want your money pit or want to die. |
Excellent point!
I always answer everyone's email, even if they want a 'pen pal'. I type at 70WPM (and most people type fast) so what's the harm?
Plus I have had the most unexpected of sales from answering the silliest of questions.
One that sticks out was something like, 'is that brite red dude?!!' And I could've just dismissed it as spam/trolling, but I answered it as best as possible and the guy wound up buying the bus I had for sale.
...and everyone has a motorbike (or a sled) to offer in trade OR a Mustang. Damn, I've had sooo many Mustangs offered to me in trade. _________________ "There is only one sin; disconnection from self." |

Or when they use the word "Twin" instead of "Dual" or "Windscreen" instead of "Windshield". Don't even get me started on the word Bonnet for hood. That pretty much makes me not want to buy the car. _________________ - Chris

In all fairness, the seller is selling more than two VWs, he is selling his web domain and current bookings for 2014--in other words his business. The terms he uses in the ad are common references in The UK, where the seller and his business are located. |

If you're gonna add deluxe trim to a single cab at least make sure it lines up. _________________ Can't polish a turd!

Careful he said!!
As a California attorney, he has ways to complicate your life, so please do not complicate his. Also, if you have a feedback score of less than 10, you must contact him before placing your bid. Otherwise, he has the right to cancel your bid.
Lastly, if you have serious interest in this vehicle, feel free to call him to end the auction. (808)856-1468. |

Is it any wonder attorneys have the rep that they do? I guess we had better watch our backs now or life could get complicated! _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

That threat is over the top in any context; an ad worth archiving.

X586 Why would anyone admit right from the get go that they are an attorney? Seems counterproductive...
Isn't a CA titled vehicle in HI for more than ten days breaking the law?
What do you call a hundred attorneys at the bottom of the ocean? A good start... _________________

I've been doing weddings for years... I'm happy with a meal and a few drinks at the reception.
Anyone wanna buy my "business"?
