I'm sure it's been covered but this is whine worthy.

$4k and the poles, bag and mounts are $350 repros? At least the changing room adjustable poles are real, i hope.

Are you saying the color line should be under the grey rubber seal? A few inches further in that it is?

I know Clara knows this but for those who are reading:
Here is my '63 Deluxe, look at what parts are green and what parts are Blue-White.

If you want to get super crazy, notice how my door panel has a lot more screws holding it on. Cool

Yes, original is 23 screws per front door panel. The grey bus has 15.

More of a question than a whine, maybe both...will people really pay $13,000 for something without a title?

Aside from the lack of title, the lack of good photos and a limited description make me wary. Tail lights look janky, can't see the brake light, Can't see if it has a front seat, etc.

Why anyone bothers to spend time and resources building a car without a title is beyond comprehension.

From the lack of title, lack of description, and what I can't see in the pics, that is a $4-5K bus. Estimate subject to change with further info.

Glad I am not alone on this. I wouldn't buy anything without a title unless it was for parts. If you want top dollar when selling, get a title first.

Yes, that is a scam.

Everything you just said is also a standard scam.

Andrew, obviously your bus is more important than your family emergency, delete your ad and move one..... When your family is gone you should still have a typical rusted high roof bus....

Sad very sad, I do really hope things work out for you and your family. My sarcasm is for your ad, not your situation.

I saw that. Didn't make much since when I read it either. If you need money fast, you sell things. And generally you sell things at a discount to get the desperately needed funds, which are more important than the things. It didn't look like he wanted to sell the high roof. More like, if you give me a charitable donation of 75 grand, I'll give you this bus? That's kinda how I put it together.

Of course, when you are on the outside of a situation, you don't know the depth of the problems he is is faceing, just saying.

If they had taken the time to clean the bus up, Unload all the crap out of it and set the seats in it right. ( maybe a days work) It would actually look like a 14k bus. You never get a second chance to make a first impression

If he cleaned it up and made it look presentable he'd fetch a lot more than 14k. OG paint, small hatch walk thru bus with all of the seats and interior panels... Yummy.

Yeah, more like the good deals thread.
That strap over the roof makes the baby Jesus cry.

The tiny treasure chest doors are a nice touch, though.

Binz did it for about three years in the late fifties.

And remember, it wasn't that long ago when one could pick up just about any split bus for a couple hundred bucks and drive it home. That made it easy experiment. Poor little guy.... Sad

Last one I drove home was 1994, but it was $300. And it was a scary drive. Last $200 bus I bought was within the last decade, though.

The $200 Bus you bought was able to be driven home?
