If they'd take a lower offer it might be a good deal... I do love how all these buses are being resurrected. |
$23,000... I'd say more like $5000, if it has more parts than are seen there, like the other seats. |
23k for a 21 window shell casing Isnt 23k for a 21 window more like a price for a worn out daily that needs a resto - complete but needing a full overhaul? _________________

I bet someone get's it for $12-15k cash. The prices the 21 window and 23 bus's restored would say it's worth that much especially to a shop that has the skills to fix it in a reasonable amount of time. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

I would like to see evidence of this as well. Seems like a high price for a bus missing "key" 1955 only parts (seats) plus the rear bumper. Wish the best on the sale. Cool bus. That oldest non barndoor example would have semaphore regardless if euro or north American designated.

neither of your photos look original paint to me, and the first one is supposedly a '52 and would definitely not be pg/sg

I say not OG paint on that bus...the PG doesn't wrap around the rib into the interior on the front door...there's also what appears to be bondo cracking around the DS taillight, and the non OG painted stop light up top has the same fade as the rest of the bus.... _________________ 1960 L31 M183 kombi |

I like the colors on a Barndoor but I agree - repainted + fake patina.
I can also see it has no reflector indents on the rear corners and the rubber buffer on the open front door is painted green. _________________ How to Post Photos
