I also understand flakes are a part of life that's just "reality" and has nothing to do with the interweb or California 😉 |
Funny, almost every internet flake buyer I have dealt with since I started selling online has been from CA. Maybe just a coincidence. |
Keep at it a little longer...I have been selling cars for over 30 years and have encountered flakes from all over the world...Even from I da hoe. |
I've been buying and selling since the late 80's, but not until the interwebs have I experienced these issues. I guess it is the wide exposure, and the money involved that makes things difficult. Almost makes it not worth the hassle. |
There's also a lot more bus owners in Cal than any other state. That might have something to do with it. I get flaky buyers from all over the world, but yeah, more from cal but I also sell more to cal than any other part of the U.S. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Exactly that's why I didn't even engage in that comment ....anyone with "real world reality" experience I would think could make that correlation😉..that comment went to a whole nother level of funny to me _________________ Wow look at that THAT'S A "SHOW CAR"!!

I remember encountering flakes from back in the SOTO classified ad days..Don't really think it's an internet thing just a people in general thing. I think the non personal nature of doing business over the internet makes it easier for people to flake out and harder to read buyers. |

"30% of this bus is rust. Very rusty and missing lots of metal. Walk through section has been cut. Engine area cut. Entire floors will need replacing. Missing sunroof and all seats. In addition to major metal surgery, this bus needs all the small and major original interior & exterior parts. "
I don't need to see pics. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

It was more a comment on the rash of single photo ads for 20k+ buses. But your right, this one sounds like a gem. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |
