Is it best practice to put a gasket/permatex between the manifold and a Kadron carb? _________________ 1974 Super Beetle Convertible - 1967 Beetle |

Just the gasket. No sealant of any kind. Be sure the mating surfaces are truly flat. I use a big ass mill file and run it across the surface several times! _________________ Jimbo

What Jimbo said. You can use chapstick on the gasket to help it seal. And release from the intake manifold/carb. When you need to do some work on them later. _________________ I have learned over the years.
