what are you thinking. i have a 1961 and its just as low as yours! the lower the better!! i think your bug is sick. if i was you id leave it the way it is, but its you car and i think what ever you do w/ it it will still be cool.

Lemme ask u this? How far and often do u drive your bug? I drive mine everyday to school, an hour and a half going home on the weekends. Driving my car the way it was everyday was a bitch. Yeah it looks sweet, but looks arnt everything too me. I couldnt deal with the stiff ass ride everyday. Now its still low, but has a way smoother ride.

What size tires are those in the front? Sick ride though. Although i know exactly what you mean about riding low when you drive kinda far. My friend has a 55' T1 and we cruise it everywhere, but it's as low or lower all around.. and you feel every single bump and dip in the road. The header flange is about 4 inches from the floor, so when you hit enough of a dip you hear the stinger like a little chime cause the flange scrapes!

The motor I got from them has been great so far, no problems. Transmissions is another story. I posted a thread a while back about my whole situation with the trans they gave me that went in REVERSE when I put it in first gear Exclamation No joke!
