Yep, stock oil bath air cleaned, mounting bracket in back, rubber boot off inside engine bay and the assembly that ataches to the inner engine bay. Russ more than likley has the parts diagram. _________________

Well, without really tweaking on it, it looks like you have some funky carb linkage going on, no heater boxes (need to cap off the fan), the return spring for the carb linkage looks incorrect.. although i may be wrong. is that engine installed? is it an earlier 1600cc engine in an IRS car? _________________ '54 Kombi | '57 356 Coupe | '57 Samba | '62 Notchback | '63 Beetle (36k Original Miles) | '66 Pigalle Sunroof Squareback | '70 Westy |

tell you the truth, I have no idea. Sorry.
It seems to be my luck with cars, so I would assume that it is an earlier year engine in a later year body. That's what seemed to be the story in my old gti. a 89 1.8l 16v transplant in a 90' body. I found that out when Dean from Futrell Auto werks told me. So I wouldn't be surprized if it was.
But cool, thanks for the info about what is missing.
Are these hard to find? I keep lookin in the classifieds here, and haven't seen any - but since I know what it is now, I will have better luck.

It looks like some one bent the left carb linkage to shorten it to fit. Also is that a transmission dipstick? You got an early motor on a late trans or someone converted the car to carbs. I guess I'm not the only one intimidated by FI. _________________ John

First one is the better deal. It has the wing nuts for the carb, and the second one doesn't.
The second one does have the rubber boot. at the joint. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey

Masher, if I'm seeing the pic of your engine right, you also need the little short snout that connects the aircleaner to the body. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.
